Carry The Cross

I was minding my own business
Till His business became my business
And I had to get in the forefront of the crowd.

I could hear the wood a draggin
Would he keep his legs from saggin
The Blood on His face was pouring down.

Then He fell there at my feet
I felt the fall, He was so beat
I could see there was no way He'd climb that hill.

Then the soldier pulled me out
And to that Cross I heard the shout
I dragged the Cross upon His Bloody Trail.

Jesus, didn't carry, His Cross, to Calvary
For The Cross He had was given to me
The one, I bare, upon, my back, daily
Is The Cross, my Saviour died, upon for me.

Is your Cross, being lonely
Is your Cross, being broke
Is your Cross, a sickness, won't go away?

Is your Cross, being nervous
Is your Cross, feeling lost
Is your Cross, feeling worthless everyday?

Is your Cross, being slow
Is your Cross, painful memories
Is your Cross, fearing you'll fail?

His Promise pulled you out
And to That Cross you heard The Shout
Pick it up and daily walk that Bloody Trail.

Jesus, didn't carry, His Cross, to Calvary
For The Cross He had was given to me
The one, I bare, upon, my back, daily

Is The Cross, my Saviour died, upon for me, my Saviour died,

Is The Cross, my Saviour died, upon for me.
